I've tried on computer and phone and am getting a 404 not found error. Is it just me?

Yes!, I already know the story and it's a good one. Spoke with Brian earlier and I have been waiting. Didn't know it would cause such a stir though.

Yikes that's ugly. I hope he gets it back promptly and without too much hassle. Hosts can really hold you hostage if they decide to be obnoxious, because building a site takes so damn long.
For what it is worth, squaresspace has always treated me right and you can build the site and decide you like it before you commit and pay. Don't know if that's good advice or not but I hope it helps.

Look at Squarespace TOS:
10.2. eCommerce Restrictions. You may not offer or sell any products or services which, in our sole discretion,: (a) we consider hazardous, counterfeit, stolen, fraudulent, abusive or adverse to our interests or reputation; (b) are prohibited for sale, distribution or use; or (c) otherwise fail to comply with any applicable laws or regulations, including without limitation with respect to intellectual property, trade secrets, privacy or publicity rights, consumer protection, product safety or trade regulations or export controls, regulations or sanctions.
So Squarespace considers airguns hazardous you'll be in the same boat,
