Hilarious. My reaction to the price point mirrors what I read above.

In thermal, you get what you pay for. For a 640 unit... this is pretty standard pricing. They go into the 8-10k range.

You're not the only one. Until I got back into airguns about 4-5 years ago now my most expensive airgun was likely under $100 from Walmart or the equivalent. My first PCP purchase was a PROD and all downhill from there. Hard to believe I have a few setups now that total well over $5K with a nice scope and accessories. 

For those who need a thermal scope like this I'm sure the price isn't too bad.
