Edgun vs JSB pellets 25 caliber 25.39

I just did a comparison of these 2 pellets, the Edgun pellet which are made for them by JSB and the JSB Exact King. I did 2-350 count cans of each first step was a cleaning in my Lyman ultrasonic cleaner, the results were the JSB had double the dirt but I’ve seen worse in other batches. The spread of weight in each batch , I didn’t take the time to count but by just eyeballing them the weight spread was very even the only difference was the JSB went from 25.1 to 25.8 the Edgun 24.6 to 25.8. I took a close look at them under the bright lights and magnifying glass and there are less defective ones in the Edgun batch, the Edgun pellets also had a more polished look.

Over the the next week or so I will test the accuracy and see if there is any difference. The price, Edgun was 13.50 a can delivered the JSB was 12.77 a can delivered.
Unless I see a shooting advantage with one over the other I’m saying try them both and see what works best for you.

I just got back from the range. I was shooting my FX Crown at 50 yards off a bench using a bipod I did not use my lead sled. My best 16 shot group was the size of a dime with the JSB that I washed and sized at 25.4 grains the Edgun at 25.4 gave me a slightly larger group it was a small enough difference where it may just be my shooting. This washed and sorted pellets definitely performed better than the one right out out of can. Not even 1 flier in 16 shot groups. On my next trip to the range I will try different weights and I will see if sizing helps or hurts I received 2 different 25 caliber sizers from England that I will compare.
