Edgun Stalker scope

Immersive & Element Optics are both releasing the 5x30 Pro with 85mm eye relief. Immersive also has their standard 5x24 & 5x30 with 45mm eye relief.

Hawke has a 6x prism but it has no side focus.

SWFA has a 6x42 with rear focus adjustment.

Leupold has a fixed 6x.
Out of all these scopes you listed which one would be the most compact and highest quality? Thanks
Tim

I believe the Hawke 6x is the most compact. I forgot about the Vortex Spitfire 5x which is even more compact.

Not sure about quality as I've only looked through the Dedal and the Immersive 5x30.

Some of these compact scopes with short eye relief are difficult to fit on certain rifles so that should influence your decision.

What rifle will you be putting this on?

Iam putting it on a Leshiy 2 250mm barrel, I was looking for something 6x and more but staying compact not like a traditional sized scope

Not being familiar with the Edgun scope mentioned by the OP but it appears it’s similar to the old Colt AR handle mount scopes.
Anyway, I was wanting a compact scope for my Wildcat Sniper. I had an Element
Helix on it which was more than I needed for typical hunting. Friday I received a Vector Optics Veyron 3-12x44 FFP 30mm tube. It’s 9.7” long. I’ve mounted it and shot it at 25 feet in the basement. I like it and pretty sure it will do everything I want. It weighs 17 ounces. Came with some rings and flip up caps.
I wanted a Bug Buster but I’m not a big UTG fan. But if I ever find $120 laying around I might get it. It’s 8.07” long, 13 ounces, 1” tube and focuses down to 3 yards.

Thanks for the response I’ll look into that Vector Just not a lot of compact optics out there

You're not being a pain. I'll take one for you tomorrow.
Here’s what I am currently running which is a 1x4 blackhound just looking for something smaller on the gun

I tried the Sig Romeo 7 + Juliet 6 combo, kind of fun to shoot, but not suitable for airguns shooting multiple distances, the fit and look was great. I sold the Sig kit.
I tried the IO 14x50 on my Leshiy2, the glass was fantastic clarity, but fitting the scope on the gun and fitting that gun in a case - that was difficult because of a weird shape. I sold that IO.
I tried a Vikoptics LPVO 1-5 on same L2, I liked the combat reticle also fitting the gun in a case was much better, but could not get used to a low power, I sold it.
I have now a crossbow scope (TenPoint 1.5-6) on same L2, I had that scope laying around so just trying it now. Kind of works OK for short distance fast moving - squirrels and fits both the gun and the case best, this is a smallest scope I had so far. I will keep it for some time, until next.
But, when I am at my gun club shooting LR22 silhouettes, I have a keeper FT scope for that as well. Nikko SFP 8-32x60 Diamond Nighteater, and with that scope I can see the POI at 100 meters. But the scope is huge as the L2, I cannot store it in a case mounted, so I remove when not at my range.

Edit: I got derailed before finishing my post, back again.
So far the best glass clarity was the IO but a worst mounting on L2.
Read dot or holographic no bueno for multiple distances.
I would go back to IO any time if they release a longer eye relief scope.
I think if the Leshiy2 PL (pull length would be shorter for about 2" many scopes would fit more comfortably for storing.

I hate to be a pain but can you post a picture of it so I can see what it looks like? Thanks

Sorry for the late reply. I've been sick all week and just got around to this today. Discontinued Styrka 1-6x24. An LPVO with side focus down to 10 yards. Not the greatest scope but good for indoor practice and has a forgiving depth of field which I prefer out in the forest.

@bigHUN most L2's can have their length of pull shorted by 2". The upper air tube behind the plenum comes in lengths of 2.6", 3.8", 4.6", 5.4" and 6.1". Then there is also the difference between the REPR and non-REPR plenum lengths.

The current REPR L2s come with the 4.6" upper tube and have a length of pull of almost 15.5" so with the shortest air tube one is down around the LOP of the typical AR, from what I understand. The 3.8" tube would put it around the LOP of the Leshiy Classic.

So even if you have a non-REPR L2 you might be able to trim 2" off of it.

I am toying with trying the shortest tube but I would have to switch to a bottle, which I'm not sure I want to do.

From what I understand the 3.8" tube is the shortest upper tube that still works with the lower air tube in the REPR models. The 4.6" tube is the shortest one that will still work the lower tube on the non-REPR models.
