Slugs are all I shoot in my .22 R5M. 

Mine likes the VK 22.5 gr, the FX hybrids, and several of the NSA.

I tried some Griffin slugs today 22 cal 21gr ldc cup base 920 fps,with the R5M standard. I

Only shot them at 70 yards off of a bipod.Aim point was where are the large arrow intersects the fine outer circle and referenced with my pinky nail. One group is five shots the other is 12 shots

I haven't done any testing yet and I only have the R5M Standard in .25cal. To take full advantage shooting slugs at higher velocities, it's probably best to have the R5M Long. Try reaching out to one of the members here, jwrabbit123 (Lou). He has several posts about shooting slugs. I haven't seen him post much lately though and hope everything's well with him.

My R5M in .22 shoots them exceptionally well. I currently shoot FX Hybrids in .22. The barrel gets dirty only after 40 shots with the hybrids. Some other slugs shoot many more shots before they foul the barrel.
