Edgun leyla 2.0 or dream pup bottle ?

There may be a higher shot count with the FX,but I don’t know for sure. The Lelya is harder to shoot off of bags than conventional rifles in my opinion, and the trigger isn’t quite as nice as my FX guns. But it’s a truly awesome little package for sure. And I don’t mean that the trigger is bad, it’s perfect for what the gun is intended for. And as already stated it’s as accurate as hell! If you plan on hunting and plinking more than target shooting from a bench the Lelya is a great choice. And even off of a bench and bags you can still get very good groups out to 75 yards, and even more once you get used to how you set up the bags. Here’s a full magazine at 35 yards with my .22 Lelya, and the gun can definitely do this at 75 yards...me not so much! lol.

I have a streamline in 22 and an r5m long in 25. The fx trigger is better for paper punching, for hunting it’s a toss up, I never feel one trigger made me miss a critter. The new bat insert for the r5m has made it almost as quiet as my streamline with a sumo at almost double the ftlb. Accuracy out too 100 is a toss up between the two, both shoot really well. I think for a bullpup I would go leyla with the bat insert, just remember the edgun barrel takes some breaking in. I honestly love the simplicity and support from Ed and Edgunwest. Or there is always the r5m standard. These are just my opinions though.

I think I will go with the leyla. The dream pup looks good but the looks of the leyla keep drawing me back. Anyone know how quiet they are ? I hear they tend to have a real bark to them.

I have a Lelya & a Leshiy and I can confirm that they both have a bit of a bark to them. Even the Leshiy set up shooting .177 (10 grain JSB at 942) has a bark to it. As far as being backyard friendly. Well that would be up to who you have living next/behind you. I would still take the Lelya over the Dreampup though. I was really disappointed with there being no forward cocking lever option on the Dreampup. Also EdGuns are built like tanks and FX should have fragile, handle with care plastered all over them.
