If I want it quieter then stock----> have to take extreme measures, now I can screw on any style LDC to fit my needs.

Really extreme measures Ernest! That must have taken some seriously scary chopping of the OEM moderator. Can't wait to see a video with this. I own a Leshiy in .22 and I love it for its intended purpose as a compact, packable woods hunter. Even set at 22 FPE, I would not call mine backyard friendly. Sounds like airing up a paper bag and popping it. Not super loud but a low frequency pop that echos and is very noticible/draws attention. I only shoot in backyard during weekdays when most people are at work. Not advisable to shoot when people may be outdoors (even though legal in my locale).
