EDgun Edgun Leshiy 2

I do. I have stock 1.2 jets large puck, and reg set at 130bar. Dog and bone removed I’m shooting hades at 900fps and crossman hollow points at 930fps.
I'm identical, except I'm running my reg at 110 & shooting the JSB 18.13grn at around 770fps, I'm guessing I'll have to up the reg to about 150 to reach 900fps with the JSB's.

So do you think in our 350mm .22 configurations there is no benefit to be had from deviating from the 2 x 1.2mm jets???

BTW, from the comment string under Ed's latest video:

L 2 - Hi Ed, will there be slug magazines soon for L2.JPG

Excellent explanation, do you have the Leshiy 2 EAR, in .22, 350mm configuration?

If so what jets, puck & regs settings are you running? Curious 😊

I have two stocks for the Leshiy, one for low-power applications with the "dog bone and collar" and one for high-power applications, without. My low-power one has two 1.2 jets, and is tuned around 110 bar. The high-power one currently has two 0.4 jets, and tuned to 160 bar.

Presently the low-power one is shooting 14.3gr crosman 0.22 pellets, and the high-power one is shooting 30+ grain 0.22 slugs.

Is your higher power configuration 350mm?

If so can you explain the reason why you use smaller jets for the heavier slug?

Roughly speaking, the heavier the slug, the longer it remains in the barrel, so there's value in increasing the dwell-time. What I've done is overkill. At some point I'll dial back the jets to something a little closer to 2x1.2, but I haven't put in the time to find something optimal.

I'm not so concerned with air consumption on my heavy slugs as I have the gun tethered to a huge SCBA tank most of the time when it's in high-power mode.

Currently I'm shooting out of a 350mm barrel, yes. I have a bunch of other barrels that I have not tried. But looking forward to trying the 450 and 600mm barrels, especially in .30 cal.

It didn't bothered me, I even re-drilled whatever those were to .5 and .7. And still ended up buying a kit. Right now I have 2x0.7 and it was pretty close - last weekend, but today I fire-lapped that .22x500 barrel, will see tomorrow at my range if any better.
Hey buddy I’m in same boat. You ended up buying a whole power jet kit? I’m looking for a pair of .2 and .5 jets I have a .25 cal 350mm rifle could you pm me?

Everybody has slight difference in holding a rifle and also in body/ face dimensions so our experience may be different Because of that. but I have made a cheek riser for my Leshiy which gives me an extra 1/2” rise above the tube that also helps. I am running an Emmersive Reflex scope which mounts higher than conventional scopes but with high rings and a conventional 30mm scope I added the 1/2” cheek riser to give me a more comfortable head and neck position. You might try that, my first cheek pad I just added some neoprene foam material under the OEM sock that came with the gun.

After much, air, lead, fiddling around & testing, this is the setup I've settled on for now. It seems to gives decent accuracy results at 50y, which was the reason I purchased the gun in the first place, for a 50y backpack vermin gun.
So I thought id share my settings & see if anyone had any extra input or advice, I do have the 350cc carbon bottle, but not fitted it yet due to testing & wasting air each time I drained it. My only other thoughts were to change the jet configuration.......maybe??.......Thoughts??

350mm LW barrel.
.22 calibre.
EAR regulator
Ammo: JSB Jumbos 18.13gr.
Dog bone & Collar: removed.
Reg: 155 Bar.
Puck: full sized.
Jets: 2 x 1.2mm.
Speed: 900fps.
Shots per 300 Bar fill (standard cyclinder): 30.

Interesting Your reg has to be set that high to reach 900fps with 18gr jsb. I reach 910fps with my reg set at around 100-110bar. I'm using the older inline reg so I can't put a gauge on it to be 100% accurate.
My gun does have many differences so maybe that has something to do with it.

.22 450mm AP Barrel (no choke)
.22 18gr JSB
No dog bone or collar (my leshiy was purchased before these parts were introduced)
Reg: between 100-110bar.
Puck : full sized
Jets : ??? Never measured, assuming they are standard for a .22
Speed: 910fps
Fill to 250bar and get 82 shots before it comes off the reg (300cc bottle)

How are you two measuring your regulator pressure?

Surprising result. How is your variation in your 82 shots? Thanks

Here is 88 shots I recorded the other day. Last 4 shots were off the reg.
