EDgun Edgun Leshiy 2

Such a good shooting gun just not built with correct materials!

Guess I will make one out of titanium unless edgun is sending out replacement parts.

Nothing wrong with the materials, just the nickel finish on some of the first guns as Ed already explained to you at page 119 this tread

This is how not built with correct materials look like (Fx Monsoon, Fx Typhoon etc.)

Okay, I thought I'd put up something a little different. This is my Leshiy 2. 250mm barrel .177 set up with a Deben whisper moderator that fits nicely in the handguard with a 1/2 UNF adaptor, in the UK 🇬🇧. We're limited to 12ft pounds here unless you have a firearms license so we look at air rifle capabilites a little different here. Accuracy and shot count are some of the things we look for! This is my attempt at a double regulator system. This is a 350cc bottle with a compact butt stock with a standard plenum and regulator, going down to a compact plenum and regulator. The first reg set at 130bar and the second set at 70bar. The bottle can take a 300bar fill so going straight down to 70bar reg is a lot of pressure and I imagine stress. I only usually fill to 200bar anyway and with this set up I got 20 mags worth and stopped shooting with the bottle fill down to 90bar. I must say I was very impressed with the results!

anyone have any 250mm vs 350mm accuracy results from the L2 in .25? Wanting to build the ultimate squirrel hunter. most of my shots are up in hickory trees 25 to 50 yards. only shoot headshots, so dime to quarter accuracy is needed. my Taipan veteran standard .25 is my current gun and it is insanely accurate with FX hybrids, gun is just a little on the heavy side. and I would love a semi-auto.

Thanks

In my experience the L2 in 25cal can shoot dime to quarter size groups at 50 yards all day. The balance with 350mm barrel is perfect for me, best rifle I own to shoot off hand and unsupported. I've taken head shots out to 70 yards and have hit rabbits on the run at 50 yards. Perfect truck gun! The L2 has relegated my FX Impacts as bench gun or long range slug slinger that requires a bipod and prone position for the precision shots for pest out past 100 yards.

A little bit of tuning fun today. I've been working on shooting the NSA .250 36.2 and 38.9 grain slugs. With the reg at 160 bar and blocked / 0.4mm nozzle setup. I was getting around 875ish for the 38.9gr and 900 for the 36.2gr. I know I need to get them up to around 945-950 for the proper spin stabilization with the Alfa .25/450mm barrel. 950 fps is where I've been getting really nice groups with the AVS .2513 30gr slugs.

I ordered a large plenum from Francisco to see if another 10-15cc of plenum would help out. Received it today and installed. Just with the extra plenum I went up 20 fps on both slug speeds.

I tried going up and down one nozzle setting (ie: 0.2mm/0.3mm and 0.3mm/0.3mm) and both directions lost about 10-15 fps so I'm pretty sure the 0.0/0.4mm nozzles are ideal.I bumped the reg up a little bit to 170 bar and now I am getting 36.2gr = 935 fps and 38.9gr = 920 fps.

So at the moment we're pushing a touch over 73 fpe out of the .25 caliber. I'm hoping to get that up to just under 80 fpe if I can by bumping the reg up to 180 bar.

Bumped the reg up to 180 today - now getting 36.2gr = 960 fps and 38.9 = 935 fps. Time to try out some targets.

I do not know of any airgun besides the Edgun brand where you can take the gun apart, pull the barrel, mount it back and its only of by fractions, shot this 5 mag target half an hour ago, the two left groups was while readjusting the scope, this is the best I can do with this heavy trigger but I'm very happy with that

One day I will make a snell trigger mod to see what the L2 really can do

L2, .177 cal, 250mm barrel, Dedal Stalker scope, JSB Monster Redesigned at 863 fps, reg at 140, 35 yards

Totally agree. And not only the same barrel, but completely switching between calibers. I can switch between .22, .25 and .30 and still be within 1 Mil on the scope, consistently.
