Mine looks very clean. Maybe thats defect from factory? Just bad machining

Short answer: no. I have two and both are shiny metal.
A few questions for you:
- How long have you had the Leshiy 2?
- How much firing/air have you put through it?
- Are you feeding it clean air? There looks to be a lot of "stuff" around the rim which has been wiped off for the second picture - only reason I ask.

Last time I adjusted the reg but everything looked normal - if its just a color change, not a porous layer there won't be any particles to make problems and I would not worry about it

No corrosion. It was washed in the ultrasonic washing machine with the special chemicals. That is the reaction of the chemicals to the allum.

Thats why I love him too! I have leshiy classic, lelyla and now leshiy2! wishing i could buy some of ed's earlier stuff - like matador r2, r3m, original lelya
had it for 3 months now, filling it with normal breathing air from a diving cylinder, stuff around rim is reflected light from grease from the threads.
