Like alot of you, I'm really stoked about getting the Edgun Leshiy 2 and I got to thinking...

What all are the options that will be available for the Edgun L2's tank-butt stock extension and air reservoirs?

I found a couple pictures online but in in terms of what sizes, weight, and configurations there are or is the design awesome enough to have an infinite range of different configurations, which would be awesome.

Will their be different tank - butt extensions and reservoir lengths that would allow for a longer stock and for guys like me who might even enjoy shorter stock configurations?

What size thread will be compatible with the L2?

The curious RJ thanks you in advance!

Ah well you never know. Brian is awesome. He emailed me and is confirming with Edgun Russia about there being extensions available for the reservoir but he's not sure if there will be a shorter length of pull option (yet..im hoping😉

I'm sure there's lots of things that are being developed which makes me even more excited for the platform.

Just hoping to find out what thread the reservoir will use as there will be some great options out there I'm sure.

That is what I'm hoping to find out with the different options and parts that will be coming out.

Speaking of the Edgun Legos 2 and modularity,

Length of pull is one thing Im hoping to being developed for this awesome platform. It's actually one of the two main things I am going to ask around to see if it can be developed as we get more into the L2 in the coming months.

1) Adjustable length of pull being one:

2) And number 2, Ahem... Double capacity magazines.

It may be something some manufacturers are doing perhaps even laying some of the groundwork:

Daystate has the idea and so does hatsan with their new guns coming out with a simple hook like connection that connects two magazines together like the blitz. When one runs out you just flip it over to the second magazine without having to dig in your pockets to put away the empty magazine or fumble around or unhook a new magazine from a holder to load. Simple change but I can see it being very effective in real time out in the field.

I'm just speculating here but based on the pics and digital photo renderings, I really don't think the length of pull is adjustable on the fly like an AR stock. It looks like an extension or different lengths of the top air cylinder can be changed to give different length of pull options. What I noticed immediately on the Edgun West site is that the length of pull for the Leshiy 2 Short's stock looks a lot shorter than the Long. Take a look at how close the bottom air cylinder is to the back of the pistol grip compared to the Long. Just my pea sized brain doing some work.

Some time back Brian mentioned that the new Leshiy was going to have ability to adjust length of pull. I looked at the picture of the gun and was confused as I could not see any way the stock would adjust. I now see by these pictures how it can be done with replacing the top tube. Duhh! I would think there is going to be a standard length of pull for both the 280 and the 350mm but I could be wrong. The option for the two different length barrel kits only list the barrel, shroud and magazine. I am 6’ 2” but I prefer a shorter length of pull of around 13”. Most guns are around 13 1/2” to 14”. Gets you closer to the scopes with shorter eye reliefs. This could also help to allow the scopes to be mounted farther forward on the Leshiy so it doesn’t protrude beyond the rear of the action when folded. I agree why have three different bottle sizes and even a choice of a Carbon Fiber bottle . Just have the longest bottle and then the Carbon Fibre as an option and be done. But I’m thinking now the different bottle lengths are for the different length of pull top tubes . I like how Ed is keeping us guessing and speculating on this new gun.
