Quick update for those who want to shoot traditional .300 slugs from their L2. I just received my new magazines, in .30, from Edgun West. They definitely are smaller but did not notice any change in speed or accuracy, out to 25 yards which is on the shorter distance but my normal hunting range.
The FX pellets will need to be pushed in where before they would just slide in easily and the NSA 54.5gr slugs fit snuggly but they weren’t hard to get in. I wanted to give a big thank you to Edgun West for getting my order out so quickly.

How is the accuracy with slugs? I’m interested if the larger barrel size will still shoot them well. Also, are you saying you can still use pellets with these mags? Or would you advise against with the snug fit?

The accuracy at 25 was good for both the pellets and the slugs. I ran two magazines of each through it to make sure it was okay or if I had to make any adjustments. With the slugs I had to make some minor adjustments but that was due to the reduction in speed from the pellets 805fps versus the 54.5 slugs only at 705fps.
Although it was a snug fit the pellets they still flew true. Its snug but not too difficult; just make sure to seat them in so the cover sits right to avoid magazine cycle issues.
I typically run the L2 up at the 150 bar mark but this tune is at the 103-105bar with .1 jets installed.
