EDgun Leshiy 2 Megathread - It’s here!

Initial Range Report:

8 shot / one mag string from 250 bar fill using 44 grain JSB’s

https://youtu.be/0lW9ieKdYw4

30 cal 350mm gun gets 16 shots from 250 to 130 bar with Reg set at 130 bar

Pucks are removable and you get 3 extra spares of same size and one that is solid/closed for 3 Joules of power per Brian’s report.

Trigger: this feels like a light Timney trigger with two stages. There is an initial uptake, then a smooth quick pull of the trigger and she goes off.

Noise: Gun sounds exactly like a nail gun going off. So be aware it is loud, at least in .30 cal. This is with stock suppressor. I will test it with the Valkyrie kit soon to see.

Out of the box, the polymags won’t fit unless you trim the tips with nail clippers.

Here are the pucks I was referring to.

Noise level is extremely important to me for the shooting I am able to do. Please let us know how well the Valkyrie kit softens the sound.

Also - without the hammer is the entirety of the sound just the pop/rush of air?

Update:

So I took the small puck that has a tiny pinhole in it rated at 3 Joules and went ahead, for science, drilled it out stepwise with larger diameters and checked velocities using 44g JSB’s. Here are the results.

The first pic is the stock restricted puck. The second is the diameter of the drill bits used to enlarge the hole. The last pic is a comparison of stock 805fps puck installed in the gun out of the box and the drilled out puck shooting 603fps with same 44 grain ammo.

Also, the noise of the gun is now SIGNIFICANTLY QUIETER, like mouse fart shoot all day in your back yard quiet!

Time to test shot count and accuracy and see if anything changed.

Interesting read, thanks NolandB!

I wonder why you would get 4 of the same diameter iso varying sized, is it because the part is wear sensitive?

Because someone is going to shoot the gun without the magazine installed, it will fly and end up in the same dimension as one of your socks end up when they go missing from the dryer

When Ed has an extra few I will order more 3J pucks

I will make a video but I want everyone to know you should not use the 3J puck as it comes, the hole needs to be enlarged, there is too much pressure on the locking mechanism while using the pinhole 3J puck ...ok back to work
