Has anyone noticed that their Lelya seemed a bit louder after changing the valve? Everything is working fine and there does not seem to be any blowback at the breach. I am going to tune it over the chronograph later today. I know when I pulled out the old valve the striker pin was very snug and had a sort of mushroomed head. I was careful when removing so I did not gnarl up the brass fitting. My thought is that some of the sound may be coming from there and the pin simply has not basically broken into somewhat of a seal. Again, I did not find any blowback at the back of the airgun and everything seems to be working just fine, though the area in question is not in a place where it is so easily checked. I had also noticed that the new valve appears to have a heat treated pin on it. Possibly to prevent it from deforming. I would like to add that I was shooting a DonnyFL suppressed Vulcan and a HW97k springer quite a bit while I was waiting for the Lelya parts. Im thinking its just me forgetting that bark it had to it, but just curious.
