Don't worry everyone! I do my research before I shoot. These were a mixture of pest birds. I don't shoot anything that is PROTECTED or anything that has a SEASON on it. I could have had 20 more doves, 30 red wing black birds, a few Robins, and a hawk, and a million swallows. I pass on them all! All of these birds were taken legally, and were "in the process of damaging property" belonging to the farmer (aka property owner).
I made sure Each pest bird had at least one speck of feed grain in its mouth before I blasted it. Then I took a close up photo proving it, just so it will stand up in the "air gunners court of law".
Sorry for mis-labling my post by saying "blackbirds" I should have said "pest birds that happen to be mostly black in color".
I want to thank all of you who voice concern for me and warn me about the possibility of Federal Wildlife agents searching this great Airgun Nation forum for possible poachers thoughout this great, free, and liberty rich country we call the United States of America!
Thank you!
