EBR rules and regulations

I read the rule that a scope can’t have more than 32 magnification so if I put a stop on the magnification knob where I can’t increase over 32 will I be in compliance. I’m not able to drive to the competition with 300 pounds of gear in the trunk I’m just going to show up with one rifle case that I can take on the plan. Why can the rules be consistent from event to event.

"Total air cylinder volume limited to 580cc" I noticed this one pop up. I'm actually in favor of this one. As FX spends more and more time/attention on winning these competitions, their benchrest rifles increasingly diverge from any sort of rifle a practical shooter would run. If it isn't stopped, eventually there will be the FX Railgun like you see in 6mm BR. :p

The rules on 32 power scope are here

Since it actually says “Scope Magnification maximum of 32x” if I keep my higher powered scope at or below 32 power I should be allowed to use let’s say my Athlon 6-34 scope I just won’t use full magnification which I don’t normally use except when I’m using it as a spotting scope.

In Hunter class FT you can use a scope of greater than 16X, but your scope must be dialed down to 16X or the marking on the scope at 16X or lower if none are marked at 16X (if you have markings at 12X and 20X, and nothing in between, you'd need to adjust to 12X.). I'm 99.9% sure the AoA guys would allow the same, since they are all big FT shooters...
