Easy Bench

No biggie, I just screwed a strip of square molding to a piece of chip board, painted it and secured it in a cheap B&D "Workmate".

Its canted for a right handed shooter, if a lefty wants to use it, I'll just saw some off the other side.  

It's a light weight, portable solution for my home shooting bench.

Nice little bench Freddie. I've got a great heavy duty bench I made a while back but it's not for moving around, it's heavy on purpose. I need to make a couple of the light weight benches like this one so we can take them into the field with us without worrying about it. If they're too heavy, the boys and I just won't bother! 

What rifle is that? Looks like a RAW, kind of a little like a Daystate too though. Is it a RAW TM1000 or something like that? Sure is a beautiful gun, I really like the walnut and silver with the carbon fiber barrel shroud. Really nice looking.

It's obvious from the cheap-ass rifle pictured on your new bench (rest) that you don't have the financial means for a store-bought bench. Maybe you should consider a Go Fund Me page, or trade that crummy pellet gun to me for a store-bought rest I paid almost a hundred bucks for. Deal?

My bench is very similar. Years ago, I bought the most expensive Black and Decker Workmate they sold A perfect bench. I covered my top with cushioned rubber originally designed as a drawer liner for tool boxes. I provides a soft surface. 

I find all sorts of household jobs too with the Workmate.
