Easiest 12 FPE to cock?

A friend is looking for a 12 FPE gun that is easy to cock.

The easiest one I have is an HW77 long. Lots of leverage. I have heard that de-tuned RWS/Diana 48/52/54/56 are also easy but I don't have first hand experience with one under 15 FPE.

What say you?

HW-95 / Diana 34 have long barrels and if held on the muzzle end when cocking one of easier at that power level ... IMO

I have a Walther Terrus that’s significantly easier to cock than a D34, HW95, or HW50 and makes right at 12 FPE. It made a little more power before I replaced the steel top hat with a lightweight Delrin one. I don’t see how it could possibly get easier to cock and still make 12 FPE than that Terrus. It’s spring is tiny compared to the others.

If you can find one, the FWB124 is a really easy to cock 12fpe airgun.

Same here. My 1979 FWB 124D has about an 18lb. cocking weight. My Weihrauch HW30 is about the sane, with way less FPS.

My d48 is VERY easy to cock and I think I'm at 18fpe at muzzle...maybe a little higher, I forget

My .22cal M34 is a 17 fpe rifle and cocking effort is the same as my Sig ASP20.

My 16J Walther LGV is easier to cock than my stock Walther Terrus- not by much though. I don't know what the muzzle fpe is for either but the Terrus is more.

The breech lock lever and the muzzle handle on the LGV make it far nicer to cock too. I don't have to slap the barrel to break it open like I have to on the Terrus. The Terrus sorta makes my hand sore after awhile from breaking it open; however, all of my breakbarrels make my hand sore with the exception of my LGV. I like my LGV a lot!
