Early bird gets the worm early RED gets drilled with lead

Two mornings in a row I’ve woken up to RED dining on the corn. Two mornings in a row one shot kills. Another headshot for this guy.

Had to of bin a chip shot.... agree with the above, move the corn back a few 50 yards and go from there. Either that or do 10 pushups before taking a shot. Give the darn critters a chance!

Type this as I am watching fox squirrels running across the top of my fence. Sadly neighbors house would get hit with a pass through if I shoot them.... So living through your shooting flint

I must admit I’ve had really good conditions. I went four in a row first shot kills, one of them off hand, at 100 yards…And then later on today I missed a little red three times in a row. He wasn’t really hyper, but he wasn’t just sitting and eating either.

We have fox squirrels here also. Easily four times the size of a little red. They look like monsters.

I need to clear some more of these out before spring
