Does anyone know the screw size on the base of it. I was adjusting mine and the head popped off. Now I have to figure out how to remove the screw and the correct size to replace it.

That's what happened to mine. I spoke to eagle vision and they said 6 screws were included in the box to change them. It was a pain get the old ones out. Apparently theres a note in the box to not remove the screws unless the rings are extended. I never saw that note but at the same time I was only trying to adjust my scope height. I think they are having issues with the screws honestly.

Was able to get mine out by l
trying to drill it out. The drill caused it to thread in deeper until it fell out. It’s a speciality screw. I will have to order from eagle vision directly I’m sure.

I contacted eagle vision. They said they send 6 extra screws with an insert in the case saying to change the screws out to the new ones. I didn’t get any in mine. He said he’s sending me 6 new screws.

I think they need better quality screws. They seem to snap into pieces just from adjusting a adjustable scope mount which defeats the purpose of it being adjustable. Eaglevision products are amazing but maybe he recieved a bad batch of screws .

I had one break also. I milled out the slots on my mounts so I could use a straight threaded metric bolt.

Stupid me just found the bag that came with my ins-34 mounts that has 6 replacement screws. Didn’t think I got them. Eagle vision is sending me 6 more because I said I didn’t get them and Utah air is sending me some to. I feel bad lol. If you guys need some pm me and I will send them to you.

I just got my set in today. I didn't see those instructions anywhere. But it did come with six extra screws in the bag with the wrenches. So you are saying I need to switch those out?

I’m not sure but if you contact eagle vision directly they respond very quickly. I sent an email during their business hours and had a response within 10 minutes.

I spoke to eaglevision. They recommend switching them out. Maybe its because I had a bad screw so to prevent future problems. But give them a ring or email them. They respond very fast over WhatsApp.
