I purchased a one-piece Eagle vision base with the intent to use it in conjunction with my Pard NV007a. Without the option to slide the entire base forward, I would use tape on the pic rail to mark where I originally mounted my rings then move them forward in order to affix my Pard to the rear of the scope. If I didn’t do this, the added length of the Pard would just about kick me off of the rifle butt when trying to scan and aim. It caused me to use the unit a lot less. On another rifle I simply don’t have enough room to move the rings forward because of the location of the magazine. I’m hoping that this is an effective remedy to these issues.
