I will say that it's wonderfully accurate, however I haven't gotten out to the range with it in over a year. It shot the Vortex pellets very well.

Crank -- thanks a lot for the explanation..I was thinking that I was going to sand from the clear coat all the way up to the wood..n that would be hard on the corners on the stock..your way should be a lot easier..thanks for showing your work.

I think after seeing how good that came out, we may be seeing more dyed stocks in the future. That came out very nice. Good job.

You can sand lightly between coats with a grey/ silver Scotch bright pad. It is very fine and It will not remove any finish. Just knock the shine off then wipe down with tack cloth and you are ready for another coat. The red mahogany stain is an Great look. IMHO. MM

Again, I appreciate the positive reception to my wacky experiments. This is the third stock I have dyed. My first victim was my BSA Super10 that I had to delay pictures of it fully assembled, due to a hairline crack I got when I knocked the stock over (it's fixed but I had to re-coat that area). This was while I was doing the stock modification to accept the new bottle, quick-fill and reworked cigar.

Then I did my Artemis P15 in purple.

Now the next decision will be which one will be done in blue. I also received brown dye with the kit and I'm not sure what to try that on.

I got the dye from Keda Dye. They have several videos on YouTube, watch those to get some ideas.
