OMG MY BAD!!! MTC SCOPES ONLY ONE YEAR WARRANTY TO *ORIGINAL OWNER* WHO REGISTERS IT WITH MTC OPTICS WITHIN 30 DAYS FROM DATE OF PURCHASE AND INCLUDE A COPY OF ORIGINAL RECEIPT AS PROOF OF PURCHASE. EITHER MAIL IN OR SCAN ORIGINAL RECEIPT THEN VIA EMAIL. THERES AN OPTION FOR THE ORIGINAL OWNER WITH PROOF OF REGISTRATION AND RECEIPT TO EXTEND IT TO 4 MORE YEARS BUT IDK IF THEY CHARGE EXTRA. FOR IT SINCE I NEVER EVEN KNEW THEY NEEDED TO BE REGISTERED WITHIN 30 DAYS OF ORIGINAL PURCHASE BY THE ORIGINAL OWNER (ME) TO EVEN HAVE ANY WARRANTY!!!

HERES WHAT CAME IN THE INSTRUCTION MANUALS FOR MY $399 MTC VIPER CONNECT AND $649 VIPER PRO...

Fanboy here, lol

Annnnnd I think I'll stay with a transferable lifetime warranty that needs no registration - yuh know, in case the scope goes down past warranty. I'm glad I don't have to sweat possibly throwing a scope in the trash later on - phew! Or having to pay for repair later on.

Funny thing is that I haven't had to use the warranty on any of my Athlons yet.

Yep I learned my lessen the hard way because even expensive scopes break on occasion.

Check out this scope! https://athlonoptics.com/product/rifle-scopes-talos-3-12x40-mildot-sfp/

It focuses down to 10Y, has capped 5 mil turrets in .1 mil increments, a zero reset, has a mildot reticle that is true on 10x, has good glass, a compact form factor. These can be had for around $160 if you shop around.

I've had the 4-16 version of this scope for 4 years which was nice enough to keep on my favorite varmint rifle. It was to be a stop gap until I got something more expensive but I left it on their not feeling the need for more. I like the thick-ish reticle for fast acquisition to make a snap shot like with coyotes close up in the junipers.
