Hello, I've got a noob question. For the PCP guns using probes, does the air ever come out of the probe from the PCP tank?, or is it always a one way air-in?

You know what they say no such thing as a dumb question.
Inside the little hole where you plug in the probe there's a one-way valve. That valve can leak but it's not supposed too.

Having young kids, I sometimes shoot after they’ve went to bed. When refilling my gun from my SCBA, I used to try being quiet by bleeding the line slowly…til one time I lost half of my fresh fill on my Impact doing this. The incoming air had held the one way valve open while I bled the line, and bottle too. So…if you fill from a tank like me, always bleed the line fast so it snaps the valve shut. My kids will go right back to sleep anyway. The wife’s another story.

Quickest way to get her to sleep, in my experience is to say "While you're up we may as well......." snore......
