I had been watching this rifle on the Airguns of Arizona (AoA) site for several months and I kicked around the idea of purchasing but always put it off for one reason or another. Well a little over a week ago the price dropped to a level I just could not talk myself out of, I also knew if I did not get it then it would be gone in the morning. This Rochester came from DT Fletchers Estate and was listed as Item #164 on the AoA site.
Upon its arrival I gave it a wipe down and some Mac1 secret sauce. I was curious as to its capabilities and am glad to say it is still an effective shooter and holds air.
At this time I have tested it an it will hold air for over 24-hours, I have put 3 pumps back into it, decocked the hammer and unscrewed the cocking knob to see if it will now hold air for a week or more. If it does I will be happy to leave as is (no resealing project) and take it out and do some velocity and accuracy testing.
