drying out a PCP

Is there a process for removing moisture from a PCP? I have used a hand pump and would like to dry mine out.

get a good dehumidifier and pump in a small room
I put the air out take on my dehumidifier right next to my pump intake.

any one else ever do this?
as it makes for a much dryer fill if you use a pump

I would completely take apart the gun, clean and resemble the gun. Might want to think about getting a tank or up grading to a better pump. I have read most handpumps will still past moisture.
