Dry fire Airforce condor/ Gunpower SSS

if you reopen the breech and hold it open with finger and fire the hammer against your hold so it will not hit the tophat thats the best way to relief tension on the spring. dryfiring is the best way to damage a knock open valve seat when the bottle is empty, these used to dump the air when not much was in the cylinder anyway

if you have a completely empty cylinder you can try to push your tophat all the way in manually, to feel how deep the valve return spring adjuster is crewed in internally: if you cant push in the tophat flat with the valve face it means it will break when excessively dryfired(with no air in) because the spring is compressed the way that no space is left betweeen the spring coils. and that is only when i consider damaging the spring. the hammer will mess up the spring.
