Dropping air rifle

Don't lean it up against anything again if you can help it.

Lucky no damage. Store it with action broken open so breach seal doesn't take a set.

Edit: Especially if loaded. General bad habit we all may do in a pinch to run to target or something else.
It's just too easy for a discharge, let alone damage to scopes, sights, rifle, crown, etc.

The first ding hurts. I remember letting my uncle shoot my Marauder right after I got it. He braced it against the aluminum frame of his sliding glass patio door and proceeded to scrape the end of the air tube against the frame as he settled in for the shot. I cringed as he did it, but said nothing. He is no longer with us and I love that scratch. Reminds me of him every day.

Point being, if it still shoots the way it did before the incident, there's nothing to be concerned with and any cosmetic damage is really just a story waiting to be told.

"Remember the time when..."

I feel you on this one. Yesterday I had my Vet leaning up against a shelf. My wife came up to me and told me it fell over when she opened the door - I cringed. Only a few super tiny marks. Only person to be mad at is myself.

This I learned long back with one of my 22lr rifles... still have the ding to never make that mistake again. What I do now is I put them on the floor so if they do "fall" it's already on the ground with a bipod. Funny thing is they do roll off tables with bipods attached... caught a couple airguns walking off tables lol.. so you still have to be extra careful especially when the stocks are mint. They love to find dents when they are new!
