Drooper Mount for FX Crown Continuum - Options?

Hi All,

So far I've been using the UTG Drooper Scope Rail 11mm to Weaver on everything. I've even put one on my FX Dreamline Classic by taking it to the Bridgeport and removing 0.7" from the middle (must maintain correct OAL of the rail to prevent "s" bend in the scope tube!). Ok. All is well with the world.

Then comes the Crown Continum (or even the Marauder w/Picatiny rail). I can not use the old UTG Drooper Rail. Some days I like to shoot long or slow and w/o the drooper I run out of elevation adjustment on the scope.

One option are the FX No-Limit rings. There is also the UTG 20 MOA Elevated Picatinny mount.

Are there other options I've not found with my Google-Fu?

You can put a pair of these or similar on, watch the length and height, then you can use any of the 20MOA rings available as most are one piece.

Burris has these 2 piece units that would not require a riser. Expect there might be more of these around but I did no see them.

I tried some different things with my Impact rings and mounts so I could use the QR option but finally gave in to the FX No Limits rings as they had more elevation available than most other mounts. For the price and quality they are hard to beat.

I have the Burris rings with inserts and they work but for the money you’re better of just getting either Sportsmatch or the FX rings because of the ease of adjustability.

Just get the FX and be done.

Due to the loopy trajectory of airguns, a drooper mount or adjustable rings are a necessity I've used the UTG 11MM to Picatinny drooper mount, shims and Burris Signature rings. All work, but the rings are the best.

I went down the same road when I got mine. I’ve been very happy with the FX rings.

I guess the FX rings are the answer.

BTW, anyone think that maybe the manufacturers of air guns would put at least 30 minutes of angle droop compensation in the receiver scope mount of the airgun? After all, I've never run out of "down" adjustment

RAW does 20 MOA, but it's not enough IMO. 30 would be better
