Took my son to a match and he did pretty good with the fx and claimed it as his! So I had to run my 97k and was impressed by it in the springer class (I won!). Had to dress it up a bit to sort out a couple of ergo issues, now happy

That's a pity. I was hoping you have been sitting around letting your 97k get rusty and dusty while I've been practicing my butt off to try to beat you.
You also failed to mention that you won with the FX at the last match. Now that I think about it, you shoot the FX so well it would be a shame for you to develop a twitch from shooting a springer. You should probably just sell my the 97k for cheap and then you can buy your boy a nice Avenger. We don't want to spoil him.
Hope to see both of you at Arlington on the 19th, if the broken wrist is healed up by then.

The rifle looks great! I'm thinking about trying a new stock for my 97. I was thinking of trying one of the CraftsmanVit stocks in red coral snake laminate.

Not to berate the Lucas Parsley stock, but there was a gent in GTA who was not impressed with the overall stock's finish.
IIRIC, he bought one for his TX200, or was it for the HW97?
It is not cheap at $700, so I do understand his feelings.

Seems like LP listened to the critique and fixed issues as I do not feel any sharp or unfinished edges. In practice it gets a thumbs up from my unexperienced view point. Full match usage will test reliability. Overall a happy camper here
