Dreampup leak

I have an original dream pup .22. I pulled it to go shoot and noticed it was reading 0 bar. I know it was about 150 bar when i put it away a couple months ago. I remembered reading about the valve seat issue. So I took the air cylinder off and sure enough the parts fell out. I checked them as best i could and don’t see and damage. I watched 910’s video on reinstalling the parts and used a tiny bit of lock tight. After reinstalling i could hear air coming out the barrel. I disassembled and redid the process to insure it didn’t mess it up. Second attempt same issue. So anyone can point me in the right direction??

Yes contact FX USA! Let them know you had a sudden loss of pressure and you can hear the leak from the barrel. Fortunately it’s a well known issue with the Gen1 Dreamlines, including mine. FX USA will/should take care of you!

The valve seat probably needs a new o-ring.

I had the exact same problem. Make sure the valve seat is snapped into place ( I used then end of a Bic Pen to guide it in and seat the valve seat) insert the the valve pin, spring and holder and then when trying to fill do it with the rifle standing upright on the butt pad. That worked for for me, so worth a try. Bill

I tried reinstalling it. Still no luck. Called fx usa and they are sending the replacement parts out. Hope to be out shooting again soon!

Ok so i finally got the parts in the gun and having the same issue. I can hear the air coming out the barrel. I’ve reinstalled it several times. What else could it be? Hate to pay the shipping to fx. But it might be my only choice.

Any pictures of said valve pin/poppet and seat?

Not at the moment. They brand new replacements from fx. They look identical to the originals i replaced. I will pull them tomorrow if i have a chance and post a pic.
