He did a previous video attempting to hunt a hog and it didn't go as well. He hit it with a similar side headshot but the hog ran off. The video shows the importance of knowing proper shot placement.

fixed. And yeah, i was quite surprised when I see it.
I do 99% target shooting, and the 1% is if the rat or pigeon got in the way of my target

I have seen hog taken at 45 meters with a FX boss (head shot) and a deer with 25cal Impact 55 yards (heart shot)

You can take a deer with a .177. I wouldn't recommend it. I also wouldn't recommend hunting hogs with an underpowered .30 caliber pellet gun.
