Looking for some help. I have a new FX dreamline compact tact. The filler valve is leaking air. I replaced the O ring but it still leaks. Is there a torque value I should tighten the valve to? Any other suggestions?

Have you used soapy water or Oatey leak detector to make sure it is coming from the filler and not somewhere in the general area?

Call the dealer. Make sure it's documented so you don't void any warranty trying to do anything yourself. It would surely suck if that was an excuse to not get properly taken cared of by FX.

Hope you tried blasting quick bursts of air into the empty gun with your 4500psi tank first before trying to take anything apart. I'd say to cock the gun first if it were leaking out of the barrel then use your 4500psi tank to fill.

I can hear it hissing from the valve. I'll call the dealer tomorrow. I called already about this and got a new O ring. So far, I'm not impressed with the dealer.

FX will probably pop in here shortly and tell you to give them a call! That's the route I'd go, they will get you taken care of!
