Dreamline Classic .177 vs DreamPup .22 @ 25 and 50 yards

Excellent review/comparison. I had that kinda weather here in Coldtlanta too. Was way to wet for my taste to shoot though. That .177 didn’t disappoint!

Thanks,

She (the .177) may end up looking something like this some day.

Field target could be a lot of fun.

Nice job of shooting Joe and thanks for your excellent presentation. Very enjoyable and informative. Chet

Thanks chester,

This morning I eked out a little bit more fpe from the Dreamline Classic.177 by adjusting the AMP regulator up 5 bar. Taking from 110 to 115 bar it gained 15 fps and 1 or so fpe. Accuracy is still the same.

Joe, I’m a sucker for nice stocks, & that stock right there is the one thing that almost had me buying an FX. I have personally not been big on FX. I remember Mat in SA talking it up when it was announced, remarking on how good a hunting platform it would make.

Yeah, that Aeron FT stock has the right stuff, adjustments for just about anything. It seems very kool! Seen Matt Dubbs video also..

Nice groups!! I highly recommend you to decrease the speed on the .22, set it @890 and test it again!!!

Thanks!

I have shot my DreamPup at all speeds. Let me share some information with you about how my DreamPup is tuned.

All on transfer port setting .25/.30 with the different numerical hammer spring tension adjuster set points these are my average repeatable speeds shooting JSB Jumbo Heavy 18.13 grain.

“MIN” = 865 fps

”1” = 875 fps

”2” = 890 fps

”3” = 925 fps

”4” = 975 fps

”5” = 1005 fps

”MAX” = 1030 fps

I have shot and still can shoot the DreamPup .22 at any of those settings. The groups are no better at 890 vs 975 fps, field tested many times over. It is accurate on or at either setting. The advice and recommendation is appreciated, but I’ve proved this out several times. The gun is minute of squirrel accurate and being that competition is nothing that I’m interested in, I will stick to my power tune for the flat trajectory and fpe on impact. But, realize that it can be shot a variety of speeds by just a few clicks of a HS tension dial.

890 fps...
