Dreamline AMP regulator question

Picked up a DreamTac Compact .25. My first FX gun. Had a question on max pressure from the reservoir. I know the factory aluminum tube is 230bar max. Was thinking about replacing the tube with a .5L carbon tank. The tanks are 295mm long by 61mm diameter and available on ebay with the correct threads. these tanks are rated to 4500 psi. Lets say I wanted to fill the tank to 275-300 bar. is the AMP capable of handling that? Has anyone put one of these bottles on a dreamtac compact??

Thanks

I would take a look at the whole Dreamline series of guns using an AMP reg. What is the max fill pressure for the bottle guns in aluminum and CF? What is the max fill pressure on the guns with air tubes? That will determine your answer. Can you go 50b higher? Maybe. You are already gaining capacity so raising the bar so to speak is not really necessary. 61mm diameter may be pushing it on the compact.

I have an FX Dream Tac Compact,
and the very first thing I did was replace the OEM metal air cylinder with a carbon fiber bottle.
As much as I wanted to grab the .5l size, they're too long for my setup - I run suppressors, so they'd hit..
I dropped down to the .22l size carbon fiber tank, and it fits with a little bit of room to spare.

As for air pressure going INTO the regulator: I would hope that they'd handle 300 bar.
Especially since going with a carbon fiber bottle is an 'upgrade'. I top mine at 300 bar, and so far, zero issues.
As of now, my reg is set to 100 bar, so I get 4 mags worth of very consistent shots.
