Today I finaly got to get my FX Impact out that I received on Tuesday. Utah air tuned it for the 34 grain JSB at 900 fps. I was shooting pellet on pellet at 35 yrds, than at 50 I had to dial 5 clicks to be centered. Does this seem about right? Well this is not the issue. After about the third fill with tank my pellets started missing the target and hitting the dirt before. Same was true at 35 yd and 50 yd. It was getting dark so I called it baffled since it was going so well. When putting my gun away in the safe I noticed my moderator was slightly loose. Not a lot loose just barely. A quick turn tightened it right up. Would this slight loose moderator throw my pellet off by that much at those distances ? If so does anyone ever use a tiny bit of lock tight to keep this from happening. I could imagine if hunting was involved it would be very frustrating.
Thank you for all the feed back.
