Can hydrogen gas be used in the Seneca Dragon Claw Gen 1 without the need of any modifications to the rifle?
I’m going to provide a serious answer incase this pops up on someone’s Google search in the future. There’s 2 conventional gases and 1 novelty that are used to fill airguns-

  • Compressed atmospheric air is overwhelming used, as it is mostly nitrogen.
  • Compressed ‘pure’ nitrogen is also sometimes used.
Both of the above options are safe

The novelty gas is helium, due to its’s properties it can result in increased power but is also likely to leak and you would need a PCP that was explicitly stated by the manufacturer to be compatible with helium otherwise I would consider it unsafe.

Hydrogen and Oxygen or any mix of those gases is extremely dangerous and could result in an explosion that causes maiming or death. They should be avoided at all costs!
