Double Turkey Take Down with an AIRGUN!

.22 & .30 Cal Take Down 2 Turkeys! For this American Airgunner Vault Hunt, we join Jim Chapman and Glenn Elliot in Northern California for some airgun turkey hunting! One is using the Evanix Rainstorm PCP air rifle in .30 caliber and the Walther Rotek .22 caliber PCP air rifle. Turkey hunting with airguns usually offers several opportunities, and strategies to harvest a bird, including hunting out of blinds and stalking. Jim takes the opportunity and the rifles to capitalize on the beautiful terrain and 3 bird bag limit!

I've given up with .22 on turkeys. not enough power for a body shot. Head shot only

Yeah, game birds run, run, run with holes right through them. Like the first bird he shot. Even with a scattergun you aim for the head or neck.

Stalk turkeys? IDK Extreme low success rate. Good luck. Nothing can see like a turkey.

Besides that's how most turkey hunting accidental shootings occur.
