Dot sights on break barrels?

I put a FireClub 11mm to Picatinny on my 22cal Gamo Fox. It has 4 retaining screws. Socks it down real tight. $13 on Amazon. Also has a detent pin that fits the 11mm rail like the OEM scope.

Question about dot sights, actually a few questions. First, how do the under $50 sights hold up? I would like to try one but don’t want to pay $100 and find that I don’t like the dot. Some on amazon are as low as $30 give or take.

Also, I don’t really know the difference between the full tube types vs ones like that pointy linked above. What are the pros and cons of each type?

I see the Bushnell mentioned a lot, are there any others that are known good quality under $100 or is just flip a coin and take my chances?

Lol...he's got more than 10. I was up to 40 at one point and now have that down to something like 20. The one above is the only one with a reflex sight. If I gotta climb into the nasty stuff to go after something, the reflex sight just makes it way easier to point and shoot, no time for a scope. All the rest of the rifles I have are scoped.

SD, I've moved a few actions around. The Spector that came in that stock ended up in a customized by me wood Striker stock. That .25 Edge springer came in an Edge Harvest Moon camo stock that now has my Edge .25 Vortex in it. Had an Edge Vortex in .22 that ended up in another wood Striker stock and the last was a .177 Edge Vortex I customized the Edge stock on. The rifle is toast but that blue Edge stock is still around here somewhere.

You just reminded me of my soft spot for beautiful rifles.
