Dot sights on break barrels?

I love the red dot on Springer's. Have at least 10 of mine equipped with them. You may not get tight little groups like magnified optics. But the quick target acquisition makes up for it. I also like the SeeAll mk1 and have several on guns. A Williams peep sight is also a very good choice. Here's a few.

Hatsan Edge .25 cal spring piston break barrel action. The stock is from a Webley Spector. Sight is a Vokul Holographic reflex sight. Been on several rifles and now at home on this one as I use it for a short range brush gun. Satin black, grey accents because I was bored, Dupli-Color clear truck bed liner for the abuse it takes now and then.

Very cool Edge. I sure like my .25 Edge very accurate little rifle. I can't believe I only paid $49 for it. Also have it in .22.

Yours is very cool compared to my stock ones.

Nice. Thanks guys. I run dots on center fire pistols and AR-15's and PCC's (pistol caliber carbines) for decades. But I am new to air rifles. They are much faster than a scope, especially for 3-25 yards, and I've got a hand full of dots waiting to mount.

Sept, I've got 9 Glocks, but how do you end up with 10 air rifles? Never mind, I see the trap now. Already looking for the next one....

Lol...he's got more than 10. I was up to 40 at one point and now have that down to something like 20. The one above is the only one with a reflex sight. If I gotta climb into the nasty stuff to go after something, the reflex sight just makes it way easier to point and shoot, no time for a scope. All the rest of the rifles I have are scoped.

SD, I've moved a few actions around. The Spector that came in that stock ended up in a customized by me wood Striker stock. That .25 Edge springer came in an Edge Harvest Moon camo stock that now has my Edge .25 Vortex in it. Had an Edge Vortex in .22 that ended up in another wood Striker stock and the last was a .177 Edge Vortex I customized the Edge stock on. The rifle is toast but that blue Edge stock is still around here somewhere.

All I run is red dots on my airguns, I don’t shoot more than 20 yards. I’ve had some variation of a Burris Fast Fire on my Beeman R9, BSA Lightning, BSA Tactical XL, BSA Supersport, Cometa 400, Hatsan Supercharger, HW45, HW50, HW90, HW95, Impact Air RM100, Walther Terrus, Webley Exocet, Webley Longbow, Webley and Theoben Evolution all in .20 to .25 cals running at full factory power. No issues.

They are the best for 30 yard or less. I'm a believer!

I'm happy to see this post-I have a nice Ultradot I wanted tor try on one of my springers but mounted it on my 1322 instead. Only thing is, I love it on the 1322...guess I need another one...$$Ching$$! Any recommendations? I'm a tad ''economically challenged" at the moment, so reasonably priced (under $100) would be good.

For your price range you may want to try this one. I think it was about 50 bucks. It is the RS -25 reflex sight. It comes with the option of two dot sizes and a cross hair type sight. Also it has a circle with a dot in the middle. You just turn the adjustment to select which one. I've been very pleased with it.

I've had it on an inexpensive crosman Springer and pulled it off because I want to put it on my 2240 pistol.
