Yep the moderator inserts float freely in the bag with the barrel tuner.

I actually some how ordered two so Im sure the other one will come the same way. Who else has their's packed in the same matter?

My 700 mm barrel tuner came packaged with bubble wrap around the shroud and the inserts in another bag. It came perfect unlike bio's. But i got bit on this one. I dont see how they can come un scratched or dented if packed like above.

That is just plain stupid not ignorant but stupid. Any one plainly knows that sharp objects scratch things. So why would they ship them like that?

Yes, both of mine were all scratched up too but at least they were well wrapped? So, I sent them back to the vendor.

Get it together FX! GRR...

I guess when the demand is high, the quality control has to down a little bit. I really hope your M3s are not like this! Look at the threads.

Yup pretty poor looking stuff. Hard to tell the difference from the FX made junk and China made junk these days. So sad it is!

BIO I can now see how you felt when you got your barrel tuner. and then to get a replacement in the very same state when others got a perfect one the very first time. I now feel like one of the lucky ones to get my 700 mm tuner without a scratch. Then again i have this one with another one on its way! Ugh.

Unacceptable!

I fully support FX (and other manufacturers) and I commend them for always offering the cutting edge of what is available but this is not okay.

Ship them back. Until this costs them time and money it will continue.

The return shipping should be at their cost since you did not receive what you paid for.

Yeah, probably from playing rock tumbler with the barrel tuner Mine survived ok being in a little baggie together but even so, had some nicked and rounded threads.

Yeah, probably from playing rock tumbler with the barrel tuner Mine survived ok being in a little baggie together but even so, had some nicked and rounded threads.

If you take a look closely at the part you will see that it came straight from the threading machine that way. It was not deburred, or put in a tumbler to knock off the sharp edges. That little piece of wire that is sitting on the threads is actually material that was not fully removed after threading process. it is still attached to the part. These inserts will cut you if your are not careful! On the other one, part of the threads are actually missing from what appears to be improper threading. I should put this in my tumbler to take all the sharp edges off.
