Donny told me he has had a lot of request and that the NEW fat boy will be made better on the inside, Not really sure what that meant as I have had one of my fatboys apart just looking, But I will leave the improvements up to the expert...

Oh, is he bringing it back into his lineup? I had some of his previous Fat Boys and they were pretty sweet. Would be great to get a refresh of that model; I'd definitely get one.

Yes, I'm guessing that if Donny were to reintroduce a Fat Boy now, it would look like his current gen mods, with the interchangeable endcaps and everything we're accustomed to. It would potentially look like a Tatsu in length and a Ronin in diameter???

This is so weird of donny I must say.... I emailed him just last week with a fat boy (generation 1) question and he told me specifically that it's not his brand moderator, twice.....not sure what all the different information out ther is about

What diameter is it? I searched and could not find. I assume it has to be closer to 2 inches vs 1.6 inch that the smaller ones are.

just a theory: maybe he sold the Fat Boy design/trademark to someone, and then now he is able to have a "2.0", which is technicly a different name and product.

I just placed an order for one at AoA. I actually just got off the phone with them and Rich at AoA told me there were only 2 left which surprised him. Well, one left now after my order. I needed .30cal pellets, slugs, and some 30mm dovetail scope mounts anyways so Merry Christmas to me. Heehee!

I think Donny's going the wrong way with a fatter moderator, mi-swell use a oil filter LOL!

I tend to like slimmer moderators... The fat boy looks like a literal "can" at the muzzle.

IMO, I think the more options we have, the better. The Fatboy doesn't look all that bad on short airguns with larger factory shrouds like the Taipan Veteran and AGT Vulcan. On other airguns with skinny shrouds and barrels, it does look kind of out of place. I have the Gen1 Fatboy which is basically the same size as the 2.0 at 2" × 4.25". I currently have it on my AAA Evol Mini 22.
