DonnyFL Tanto Silencer arrived for the Brocock Compatto

Today, a day early, the DonnyFL Tanto arrived for my .177 / 4.5 Brocock Compatto FAC. Just from “sound tests”, one word WOW!!!, I am very impressed with the noise reduction. I did a “sound test” using the NIOSH noise meter app on my iPhone. Without the silencer on the compatto sound levels were around 95 decibels, and with the silencer on 72 decibels and that is basically normalish conversation levels.

This is an inside “test” and so probably on the high noise side, but the percent reduction is still over 20 decibels which means a big difference in noise travel. I got more of a reduction than I thought I would so this is GREAT!

The Tanto is awesome. I have that on a Daystate Huntsman XL and it was significantly better than the included moderator. I then put the much larger DonnyFL Sumo on the Huntsman and for that rifle, not much if any improvement over the Tanto. Have fun with your new toy!

I've got a Koi on my Commander and a Sumo on my Concept Lite and I can't say enough good things about DonnyFL. If you check my post history too I had a clipping issue and Donny himself took care of me without even being asked free of charge. I'm a customer for life -- not only do they perform amazingly well but the customer service is exceptional.

Mind sharing a picture, I'd love to see the setup? No worries if it is too much trouble. I really like the Koi I have on my Commander but the Sumo on the Concept Lite is quieter.

No problem positing a photo, but I am waiting for my element optics scope to address, hopefully it will be shipped this week. Once the scope arrives then I will post a photo of the whole set up.
