DonnyFL Sumo .25 - Question

Simple question but I really can't seem to find the right answer. I want to use this Sumo on my .22 as well and wondered if that will work. I assume you can't go up in caliber but would be nice to at least use it on 2 of my guns.

i have the 25 cal sumo on my 22 donny sugested the 25 in case i go up no problems

I have a DS Regal XL in .22 caliber.

I had to exchange the .22 Sumo for the .25 Sumo, and the reason is because the .22 Sumo made the gun shoot wildly off target. This was related to either harmonics issues or clipping, but the solution was to get a .25 sumo, which shoots perfectly. I have not had any accuracy issues with the .25 Sumo on the .22 Regal since I put it on months ago.

Donny was excellent in helping me troubleshoot the issue!

I use a .22 sumo on my .177 weihrauch with no problem as Donny told me

It will work but might be a tad bit louder. I have seen this when going from a .25cal mod and putting it on a .22

This is going on a Taipan Mutant .22 Short, which is super quiet already so now it will just be a pffft hopefully.

You can use your sumo 25cal on your 22 cal airgun no problem I do it all the time. Just don't make the mistake of putting a smaller caliber moderator on a bigger caliber gun. You can always put lager caliber moderator on a smaller airgun so you can put a 25cal sumo on a 22cal or a 177cal but you can't put your sumo 25cal on a 30cal airgun hope that helps your question.
