I ordered a DonnyFL Ronin and UNF adapter for the Hatsan Gladius a few weeks ago and I'm amazed at both the performance of the moderator and Donny's customer service.
When the parts arrived I immediately tried to install them, but unfortunately the UNF adapter threads were too large in diameter. As a result I couldn't screw the adapter into the shroud. It would jam after only a quarter turn. I tried sanding them down, but only got to a full turn before it jammed again. Rather than risking damaging the internal threads on the shroud, I contacted Donny and he immediately offered a free replacement adapter. I wanted to send the first one back but Donny said I didn't have to. How's that for great customer service!
The new adapter arrived a few days after I contacted him about my problem, and the replacement adapter screwed in without any issues. I screwed on the Ronin moderator and was surprised at how much of a reduction in sound occurred when I fired the Gladius. The gun went from a loud, not backyard friendly, crack at full power to a backyard friendly low sounding pop at full power. At medium and lower power settings it was more the sound of the hammer striking the valve. Almost 40dB drop in volume. Quite amazing really.
Thanks Donny for fine quality moderator and top notch service.
