DonnyFL questions

Hey guys, I searched for this and couldn’t find it.

First: can I get a DonnyFL Emperor with a 1/2x20 thread in .50?

Second: has anyone experienced pellet clipping with the same size as the caliber?

Third: anyone put a Sumo on an HW95 for weight (not sound obviously)?

Thanks guys.

NO YES NO I would never think about threading a choked barrel.

Yo!

Aloha Litutenant,

First: I don't think Donny makes a 1/2x20 in a .50, you would not be able to get the slug or whatever your shooting though being that its the same size diameter.

Second: I haven't experienced pellet clipping because I got 1 size bigger for the diameter of the moderator.

Third: HW95 and a emperor would definitely put weight on the end of the barrel.

Aloha,

Keone

Only Allen Zasadny can make it absolutely positively supercalifragilisticexpialidociously perfect in the same caliber for you but you will need to send your gun to him. Even if your barrel isn't concentric nor bored perfect only Allen can build the perfect quietest moderator specific to your gun and it won't be used for any other gun. Yo!

FYI IMHO the EMPEROR by itself isn't even quiet enough for my Lowly powered 9mm-357 Bone stock unmodded un fooled around with (yet) Benjamin Bulldog let alone a 50 cal anything. Yo! I got an emperor for my modified bulldog.

I ordered a emperor for my modified bulldog and thought it would be enough!?how loud would you say your bulldog is with the emperor? I didn't get my bulldog yet so I don't know how loud mine is

Yo!

Why would you not consider threading a choked barrel ?

You mostly choke shotguns, but the answer to your question is that the choked barrel would not have uniformity for threading, especially on the inside of the barrel (but also outside on really old shotguns.

I think Yo was also making a joke because you would never thread the inside of a chocked shotgun obviously, as you wouldn’t be able to thread it.

I don’t think any of that applies to Airguns and DonnyFL, unless you are talking about a specific airgun with a choke?

A choke on the inside of the barrel has nothing to do with threading the outside.

Threading the OD of an airgun barrel won't effect the ID of the barrel.

Right but look at the pictures of the female Adapter that Yo uploaded and it is stripping, indicating an ID thread attempt, and if that was done on any type of gun it would be silly. That is my point. You wouldn’t thread the inside of a chocked barrel let alone any type of gun on the ID. That is the joke.

Unless Yo can clarify...

My issue is that I have a .25 Sumo and my TalonP, and I keep getting small clipping. So, that being said and my plans to buy a .50 cal at some point, I thought why not throw an emperor on my talonp. Now you know why I want a 1/2x20 thread for a emperor, so that I can eventually use the full diameter.

I was thinking the Sumo in .25 for my .22 Weihrauch for weight, not the emperor. Thanks guys

Your clipping is caused by a shroud alignment issue. Buying a can with a bigger hole is not fixing the problem, just covering it up. Diagnosing if the problem stems from the front of the shroud or rear is where it gets tricky. Your motivation should be a 25cal Sumo will always be more quiet than a 30cal Sumo on a .25.
