I'm use to Huma mods, but never had a DonnyFL one, so are they the same and your opinions?
thank you, very helpfulNo, the DonnyFL FX is slightly larger in diameter than the Tanto...I think they had Donny make it in that specific size to fit their rifles; there would be no point in making another model under a different name that is the exact same as the Tanto. I've had several of both and can confirm that they are not the same size.
EDIT: to answer your other question, they're not the same in several ways: if you're referring to the Huma mod-30/40/50, those are stackable and you can customize the length based on the number of sections you use whereas the DFL's are fixed. The Huma's also have a lot more felt inside. They are similar in that both brands have swappable endcaps that allow you to use the mods on different rifles.
No, the FX (unbranded) stackable mod is hollow (although surprisingly effective for what it is). The DonnyFL FX branded unit is just like his other moderators but in a slightly different size. Please correct me if Im wrong but I thought the DonnyFL FX mod is hollow; so, different from a Tanto in that regard as well.
Oh ok I thought they were one in the same. ThanksNo, the FX (unbranded) stackable mod is hollow (although surprisingly effective for what it is). The DonnyFL FX branded unit is just like his other moderators but in a slightly different size.
