DonnyDu Leshiy extended moderator

I don’t know but ... my group was great but moving 3/4” to the right when using extended baffle ... Everything was tight ... Pellets came out in the middle of baffle hole ... Any idea?

Such a shift is nothing strange actually. With longer gun the mechanics and inertia of your gun is different in the shooting cycle. Leshiy is a very light weight airgun so adding 4” to the front and heavy 8” baffle insert made of metal can cause this kind of shift. When the gun is fired there is always a recoil, and it moves slightly when pellet is still in the barrel. I guess it moves in a slightly different way with the extender. And the result is shift. But c-t-c accuracy is great in both cases.

This kind of phenomenon is even more visible with springers, which have screw-on silencers. I used to have Theoben SLR and a 4” screw-in silencer. The point of impact with and without silencer was completely different, shifted both up-down and to the side.
