By turning one of the loudest guns I own into something you might think is broke . This gun now is almost completely silent ....crazy how silent now . The gun is 33.5 inches with lcd and shooting jsb 25s at 935 fps right now .

That’s good to know how well the Tanto works! I just order one today myself. Not that I had any doubts. I already own a sumo and love it. I just wanted another one a little smaller. Not lying when they say mouse fart quite. Nice looking gun too!

Looks great BTW!Bob, I did switch donnys logo to back so the lines in the ldc start at the front....it makes no difference but I like the look much better . I also installed a small black oring between donnys adapter and the shroud just because I didnt want it metal on metal ....I'm just anal about stupid stuff

Guess I'm not the only anal one. I've got o-rings between the adapter & the Donny AND the adapter & shroud. How do you like your Ataman?

Long gun, I really like it so far but it's only been three days ....I already adjusted it to 875 with jsb 25s and its stacking them really well . I will need to do a full string but I'm not sure how high I will fill it for the string . I have been filling it to 220 bar but maybe for a shot string I will do 250 bar or higher .

I took off the sumo put it on my gauntlet and got the Ronin with the attachment on my .25 bull boss I didn't like the way it looked at first but man let me tell you when I say quiet I mean quiet it even surprised my wife Donny has good quality products In my opinion

I have the Ronin on my Ataman .357 and it is still pretty loud, but Donny does offer an extension to add to the Ronin. It extends the Ronin from about 6.5 to 12". Its is still manageable since its a bullpup. On the Ataman M2R rifle it would be too long. The Ronin + extension helped to kill the bark of the mighty .357 to even backyard friendly. Except when your pellet hits something and its loud as hell !

Does any one know if there is a noticeable difference between the sumo and the koi on a veteran 25 cal.long ? I don’t want anything overly large, and the koi being a little closer to the sleeve size, I think, not sure of the sleeve size though, seems like a better fit if needed. Or is one even needed to be back yard friendly ?

The veteran 25 cal long is probably among the most silent 25's out of the box. A silencer would of course make it even more silent but it's certainly not on the loud side!

One thing to note, be careful with rifles that are already suppressed. The barrel actually starts a bit back of the shroud ending. If you get a DonnyFL too long; you can risk a baffle strike. You can always email Donny on his recommendations, from going with the shorter of the two or going up a size in caliber suppressor. Donny will know best. He has always steered me in the right direction.
