Anyone know if and how front shroud cap unscrewed on a Cricket KalirbGun?

Does the shroud of a Cricket have a removable end cap?

Sorry. I know TED would know but for some reason, he has walked away from this place. Is there a schematic available ? Parts diagram ? Manual ? Have you looked on youtube ?

@ linsfreak - I have a Cricket .357. It doesn't look like the end cap is removable on this model.
@ Jamie - Ted is off rekindling his for love for airgunning (& trying to catchup on some videos). There are many other Cricket owners out there, perhaps they will chime in.

The shroud does not have a end cap on my 22 or 25 Cricket, It screws off in one piece ,

There is a parts diagram available parts 71, and 75 both appear to be the came. Sniperqty does a video to show damaged baffles. (double Loaded pellets I think?) he grinds the shroud down on a belt sander. So for that reason I think the end cap is crimped in

No one makes a shroud that screws on like the OEM shroud , There are shrouds out there that are set buy set screws, that have a 1/2 unf adapter.BUT now these shrouds are on the barrel of the stock Cricket with set screws,,,,,,, Like come on people make a shroud that screws on like the OEM shroud,,,,,
Set screws suck,,,,
If it was my 30 dollar 760 Crossman, I would not say a word, But my 1,500 dollar cricket. I expect a little more...
I do have some PVP (condom type slip on (LDC) that do not move the barrel with the set screws that work great.
If enough people want one I am sure Donny could make some more, Just let me know and I could slip his Email in here some where.

I just sent mine out to have some upgrades done. Yes they are glued, epoxy whatever. ......not coming off to easy. So shop has my shroud.

Sorry but you are totally incorrect, I modify Cricket shrouds and add threaded end caps to them and I also make Cricket shrouds that screw on like the factory shroud, Neil.
